Kalikesam

Kalikesam is a scenic place in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu. It is about 85 km from Trivandrum and is famous for its thick forest and rubber plantations. The main attraction is a rocky river with crystal clear water. There is also a Kali temple by the side of the river which attracts many devotees on Tuesdays and Fridays. It is advisable to carry some snacks with you as this is a remote place and there are no facilities available for the same.
